NEWSFLASH!!

I've set up some galleries at my other site www.hankscorpio.net. These are all pictures with no text but they are much easier to view if all you want are pictures.
There are also lots more pics of other countries with more to come.
You also have the ability to set up your own galleries for your pics!!
Everything here is still intact so feel free to browse below.

At last.... AN UPDATE!

(Well, a semi-update.)

I've been promising an update to these pages for a while now and here it is!

It's not a major update but what I have done is add some more pictures from a visit in 1999. Because I don't really have the time sit down and do a major rewrite these days, I've split the site into two sections -

  • The previous site with all the talky bits is still intact but now lives in the Icepix Original section.

  • All the new photos are presented in a gallery of thumbnails that link to higher res pictures. The new stuff is mostly Reykjavík based but also has some shots taken while on a sightseeing flight over the south coast.

This format isn't ideal but I really wanted to get the pictures posted after getting them all digitally converted. There will be another update later this year and that will integrate all the material (plus hopefully some new) into one place.

So the choice is yours -
Icepix Original
or
Icepix Gallery

Feedback:-

  • Once you've had a look around, please take a few moments to send me your comments.

I get a fair number of requests from people wanting to use my pictures for their own projects. This generally isn't a problem but a number of people have been silly about it (you know who you are), so here's the deal -

  • If it's for a school/college project or for personal use, help yourself but I would appreciate an e-mail to let me know you found the stuff useful and if it's on a website, a link back to this site would be nice.
  • If it's for commercial purposes, again you can help yourself but any publication should credit me and you should e-mail me with the details.
And just to show I'm not that mean, higher resolution scans are available if you ask nicely!
